Mike joined Element as CFO in 2007. Prior to Element, Mike was the Controller for Inverness Capital Partners, a $125 million fund, where he was responsible for financial and administrative matters and portfolio company reporting. Mike also coordinated and managed the financial due diligence on prospective investments.
Prior to Inverness, Mike held various financial positions with Saint-Gobain Corporation and its wholly owned U.S. subsidiary CertainTeed Corporation, including business analysis, internal audit, credit, treasury, and accounting. This included a three-year assignment in the parent company’s headquarters in Paris, France, in which Mike performed audits of manufacturing locations throughout Europe and the U.K. Previously, he was a Senior Associate with Coopers & Lybrand, where he performed audits and due diligence engagements for various clients, primarily in the manufacturing industry.
Mike earned his B.S. in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, with a major in Accounting from Widener University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
